Labour is usually charged per square foot and depends on tile size, design and the surface. Ask for a written per sq ft rate before work.
How much extra tile should I buy?
Keep some extra for cutting and breakage, and a few spare pieces from the same batch for later repairs. Ask your mistri for the exact amount.
